Northern Alberta Xtreme (NAX) student-athlete Easton Doran has signed a WHL Scholarship and Development Agreement with the Edmonton Oil Kings.
Doran joined NAX for the 2023/24 U15 season recording 74 points in 25 games as he was named CSSHL U15 MVP and a CSSHL U15 Prairie Division First Team All-Star, leading the division with 47 assists. He would add 13 points in 5 playoff games as NAX were named 2024 CSSHL U15 Western Champions.
At the conclusion of the season the Oil Kings would select Doran in the ninth round, 182nd overall at the 2024 WHL Draft.
In 2024/25 Doran would make the jump to the NAX U18 Prep team, recording 29 points in 36 games. This season he played in 23 CSSHL U18 Prep games with NAX, tallying 28 points in 23 games. The Falher, AB forward recently made his WHL debut with the Oil Kings.
